The neighbourhood is centred around a private 32-acre lake that offers residents swimming, fishing, and non-motorized boating. The McKenzie Lake Beach Club and Community Association are the social heart of the neighbourhood, hosting family-friendly events year-round. Located south of 130th Avenue SE and west of 52nd Street, the community features mature trees, winding streets, and a strong sense of community identity. The adjacent McKenzie Towne, with its New England-inspired Town Centre, provides shopping, dining, and services within walking distance.
