We would like thank Ivan and his team for their help in installing the new HVAC system at our place. We reached out to multiple service providers and were lost on all the jargons. Luckily found Air Force Heating. Ivan and his team were patient enough to understand our concerns and offered exactly what we were looking for. On the day of installation, the team arrived on time and made preparations before the work can begin. As promised, the work was completed within time and Ivan further explained in detail the functions and usage. Thank You Ivan for all you help in this project.

Installers were efficient, clean and on time. No surprises! Only one little surprise when they found our AC (already installed) was leaking. We would of never known if it wasn't for them. They took the time to repair it right away. Much appreciated!

    About Legacy

Legacy is a newer SE Calgary community developed by WestCreek Developments, located just north of the world-famous Spruce Meadows equestrian facility. The neighbourhood is designed around a central parks-and-pathways system that connects residents to greenspaces, playgrounds, and the Legacy Gate entrance feature. With a mix of single-family homes, duplexes, and townhomes, Legacy attracts young families drawn by its proximity to Macleod Trail shopping, new schools, and the natural beauty of the surrounding prairie. The Legacy Residents Association organizes community events including food truck festivals and outdoor movie nights in the parks.

    Local HVAC Considerations

Legacy homes are predominantly built between 2016 and present, so HVAC systems are still relatively new. However, the open prairie location southwest of Calgary means exposure to strong chinook winds and temperature volatility. The most common service calls we receive from Legacy are for thermostat optimization in newer homes, builder-grade furnace assessments, and first-time AC installations. Many Legacy homeowners also discover that their builder-installed furnace may be undersized for the home's actual heating needs, especially in walkout basement models with large exposed concrete walls.
