To update my review, my old furnace just quit and I called Ivan who installed AC for me this summer. They were super responsive, installed a furnace the next day, and offered great pricing. They are very good to deal with in my opinion, and I would totally recommend. I've also emailed Ivan lots when I have an issue and he's usually back to me within 30min. So for me - nothing but positive to share.-----------Old AC install review below------------The guys at Air Force gave me the most competitive quote of 5 companies I went out to. Showed up on time, were kind to my kids who annoyed them while they worked, and the AC install looks and works great. Can recommend without hesitation, they were great. Not a single issue to share.

We could not be any happier with Ivan and his team. I contacted him early in the week hoping for an install during the beginning of a heatwave. Despite a very full schedule he still managed to squeeze us in. These guys are very professional and their years of experience show in the quality of their work and their ability to answer any questions you might have. The price was excellent, and I very much appreciated that I was not only dealing with a professional in the field, but also the owner of the company. You won’t get that from a larger competitor. Air Force will have our business for any future heating or air conditioning needs, and I highly recommend them to any one else looking for service.

Had AC installed before peak season started. The price quoted easily beat out the quotes from other larger, more established furnace companies (for a similar, if not higher quality unit). Ivan came and installed it with no problems. He was a straight shooter when asked about the discrepancies between companies installing units that don't meet the 14.5 minimum SEER. It is now summer time and we are enjoying our cool house.

Air Force just completed a 2 tonne AC install in my 1950's bungalow in NW Calgary. I was disappointed with my first three quotes from the big names (slick salesmen, 'free gimmicks', etc.). I contacted Air Force based on a recommendation from my brother. Kevin swung by on short notice and provided a straight up quote. He picked up on issues that none of the other guys noticed. Ivan personally was on the tools and did a fantastic job. As a mechanical engineer I'm really picky. Ivan knows his stuff and it shows. Professional, friendly, attention to detail and competitive pricing. Fully recommend to anyone in the Calgary area.

Within the past month, I've had to use the services of Air Force Heating & Air Conditioning a few times and found them to be very prompt, efficient, honest and fair. My humidifier and furnace were malfunctioning during an extremely cold week (-40 with the wind chill). The owner of the company was able to inspect and repair the issues last minute. We are in the middle of a deep freeze and Air Force came to my rescue!!! They were able to fix my furnace and hot water tank and they took the time to teach me what to do to try prevent this in the future in such severe weather. While I waited for them to come they also gave me tips on how to keep my house warm and they did their best to try come here sooner. They were also very professional, kind and inexpensive. I would recommend them to everyone!

Finally, some colder weather that would make my new garage furnace perform.I chose the Reznor UDAS-45 V3 sealed combustion, high efficiency furnace because of the risk of dust explosion in my shop. The Reznor really heats my 22' X 24' insulated garage very quickly (and is relatively quiet).Ivan and Nick installed the unit on the coldest day of September - and persevered through it most of the day. They were focused on a neat and tidy installation which they accomplished in a timely fashion. It was so neat in fact, that the gas inspector remarked, "exceptional job".Air Force was much cheaper, with a better furnace, than the three other quotes I got from the larger, better known companies.Terrific job, guys.I highly recommend Air Force Heating and Air Conditioning Inc for any HVAC work.

Excellent, knowledgeable service!I highly recommend Air Force if you’re looking for a furnace replacement or any repairs.After years of problems with a newish(2009) Carrier furnace we decided to buy a new furnace.When Ivan came to do a quote for us we immediately felt confident using his company Air Force. Ivan explained everything in detail on what we needed. The furnace installed previously was too big for the size of our house, which we have heard before from different services we’ve had in.We replaced our Carrier high efficiency furnace with a Trane high efficiency furnace from Air Force. We have been using our new furnace now for 3 days over the weekend and it is amazing! We no longer have cold spots in the house.Ivan took the time to explain how our new furnace would work and how to manage our heat preferences.Ivan and his crew also took the time (without being asked) to fixed up our old 1961 ducts sheet metal around the furnace and wonky venting which had been tampered with for years. Over the years of problems, we’ve had multiple quotes and advice, but I found Air Force were the most knowledgeable and straightforward.Air Force is affordable, professional and I trust recommending them to anyone.

GREAT VALUE !! GREAT INFORMATION !! GREAT EXPERIENCE !!After 42 years, we decided it was time to replace our furnace with a more efficient and quieter model. We reviewed a total of five quotes for price, equipment, warranty and quick availability of installation and chose Air Force because of the value of the equipment to be supplied (we reviewed Furnaces Prices.ca for comparison shopping) and the thoroughness of Kevin in both explaining the equipment and the specific installation requirements which would apply to our install. Their pricing was also among the lowest. Air Force was able to install within two business days, and both Ivan, the owner of the company and Nick, his assistant installer were courteous, professional, knowledgeable and efficient throughout the day. They placed a high value on ensuring that we were aware of what they were doing throughout, and reviewed operation of the new equipment with us as the installation proceeded. This was important as our installation required our heating to be brought up to code. Kevin also stopped in on installation day to ensure everything was going as expected.They returned the next day to complete another job which we had requested and then returned again to solve a small pipe leak which just required a small reseal. Throughout this process, they proved to be better housekeepers than me, ensuring all construction and installation debris was removed.The City of Calgary inspector passed their work with flying colours !!Our "warmest" regards to Ivan, Nick and Kevin for a job well done. We would not hesitate to recommend Air Force Heating and Air Conditioning Inc. to our friends and family, or to anyone needing an installation and\or upgrade.

Very thorough and honest company. We had a furnace issue and this company was the first to get back to us and had a technician at our house within a few hours. They worked very diligently to fix the furnace, coming back after their first fix seemed to fail after a bit of time. Turned out we needed a very expensive repair, so we decided to purchase a new unit. Kevin and Ivan treated us very fairly and offered a great price. They were able to install a unit the next day. Installers were punctual and very professional. Would definitely hire again and highly recommend.

Moved back to Calgary after being in BC for 12 years. Purchased a house that needed some work, including central air and a new hot water tank.Had 3 different quotes. Kevin came to give an estimate, and he immediately made us comfortable with his knowledge of the product, and his great customer service.The installers, Nick and Chad showed up, they were very professional, efficient, and made me feel comfortable having them in our home. Great customer service by Don and fantastic install by Diego and Chad !Don really took the time to explain their warranty vs other warranties and advised I should read the fine print on all the quotes I received. Their warranty was definitely the best one out of the companies I received quotes from and that’s why I chose Air Force Heating !Chad and Diego put blankets on my floors so they wouldn’t dirty them and fully explained the install process. They were even very patient when our curious dog Nina kept putting her nose in their work while they were working ! install looks very clean and professional.

Great experience working with Air Force to install new A/C!They were able to provide an initial quote through email, which I thought was awesome as most places require a house visit first. During the initial visit to inspect my house, Don was very friendly and I appreciated that there was no pressure at all to choose them. I managed to catch their early bird deal in May, so the price was quite a bit lower than the other companies I asked for quotes from.During the actual service day, Chad arrived on time, and both him and Diego were polite and courteous. The appointment took about 3 hours, as expected, and they made sure to clean up after. They walked through what was done and gave an overview of basic operation and procedure.Overall very pleased with the experience and looking forward to not sleeping in 28° rooms this summer in my townhome with east/west facing windows!

If there was a 6 star option we would choose that! These guys went above and beyond installing our new AC as there was particularly tricky cable pull involved. They were professional, friendly and did a couple extra little things for us. They were offered us the best price and had lots of excellent packages.
